Angela Petrakis is going to save her family’s restaurant!  Even it it doesn’t survive the effort.

 

Welcome to Irving Schwartz/s new romantic-comedy where in the final act of desperation, Angela Petrakis applies to a notorious reality show and its obnoxious host to keep her family’s dying Greek restaurant alive.  In the ensuing invasion, a horde of bizarre characters descend upon suburban New Jersey only to be greeted by just as quirky and assortment of locals.

A criminal accountant, a Chinese brothel receptionist, a blonde bombshell candy-store owner and an Indian hero are just some of the denizens at the Closter Shades Strip Mall.  And every one of them is vying to get in front of the lens.  As chaos erupts and events at the restaurant predictably swirl toward disaster, Angela finds herself in an unexpected romance and must decide what she really wants from all of this.
